Chapter 6 All Fly Away

Chapter 6 All Fly Away
Afternoon, Kinomoto family.

"I am back!"

As the door opened, Sakura's voice also rang out, but no one in the house responded to her.

Her mother passed away when she was three years old. Her father, Kinomoto Fujitaka, was a professor in the archaeology department of a university, and her brother, Kinomoto Touya, was a high school student at Seijo High School. They both came home later than her, so Sakura didn't mind being alone at home. She had long been accustomed to this kind of daily life.

But not long after, Sakura began to regret why she was alone at home, because she heard strange noises at home.

The sound doesn't sound like that made by humans. It's a bit like a wild animal snoring. But they don't have any animals at home, right?
Feeling somewhat uneasy, Sakura followed the source of the sound, only to find her father's study.

After hesitating for a moment, Sakura finally plucked up the courage to pick up her gymnastics stick and planned to peek through the crack in the door. If there was anyone in the study, she would call the police.

Taking a deep breath, Sakura clenched her gymnastics stick with both hands, walked into the basement study tremblingly, and quietly turned on the light to look for the source of the sound.

Because her father is a professor of archaeology, the basement study in their house is more like a small library than a study, with rows of bookshelves filled with a variety of books.

Sakura suppressed her nervousness and looked carefully for the source of the sound. This was her father's important database and she couldn't let the books here be destroyed.

After searching for a while, she found no suspicious figures in the study, but she noticed a strange book.

It was a thick red book hidden in the middle of the bookshelf, emitting a faint glow. On the spine was written "THE CLOW", which seemed to be the name of the book.

For some reason, Sakura always felt that the book seemed to be attracting her.

When she came to the book and was about to reach out to take it down, the book suddenly dimmed.

This strange change made Sakura couldn't help but retract her hand, but the next second, she made up her mind again and took the book off the bookshelf in one go.

The cover of the book is a majestic beast with wings that looks like both a lion and a tiger. Below the beast's head is a sun emblem. A thin chain passes through the sun emblem and the majestic beast, locking the book.

Just as Sakura was looking at the book, the seal buckle with the word "封" on it suddenly popped open by itself. The sudden change scared Sakura, but the book did not change any further.

After waiting for a few seconds, Sakura carefully opened the cover. The inside of the book was different from ordinary books. There was a rectangular groove inside the book with a stack of cards placed inside.

The back of the card outlines an intricate magic circle, with the main body consisting of the sun and the crescent moon, which looks quite delicate.

Out of curiosity, Sakura picked up the first card in the book. On it was a picture of a beautiful woman who looked like a human. Her body was as light as the wind and she looked like an elf in the wind.

Inside the sun pattern above the card, a Chinese character "风" is written in a flamboyant style, and below it is the English character "THE WINDY".

Since she couldn't read Chinese, Sakura subconsciously looked at the English words below the card.

"W...WINDY?"

Just as she pronounced the word, a magic circle shining with golden light suddenly appeared under Sakura's feet. The pattern was exactly the same as the magic circle on the back of the card.

Then a strong wind blew up out of nowhere, and in the blink of an eye, all the cards in the grooves of the book were blown away by the wind, and those cards passed through the wall like a mold, and turned into scattered streams of light like a fountain and disappeared here.

Meanwhile, outside the house.

Xia Yu held up the camera and looked at the cards that were scattered and disappeared. He couldn't help but complain: "This Four Soul Jade Dispersion Method is really a time-tested routine."

Even though he had almost forgotten his memory of watching the anime back then, he still vaguely remembered that the Four Souls Jewel in Inuyasha was lost in the same way.

After all, that scene is so classic, just like it is now.

"It's a shame that I didn't get to capture the moment when Sakura opened the book. What a shame."

Xia Yu watched until all the Clow Cards disappeared into the sky, then he closed the camera and shook his head with some regret.

Although he really wanted to go into the house and take a picture of Sakura at that moment, sneaking in without the owner's permission was not in line with his image as a sunny and cheerful big boy, so he just took a picture outside the house of the strange sight of the cards flying away.

But it was worth it to be able to capture this amazing sight. You know, this is first-hand information, which even the great director Tomoyo doesn't have.

"OK, next is the flying cards."

After putting away the camera, Xia Yu leaned against the wall and recalled the cartoons he had watched in his mind. Although he had forgotten most of them, he still remembered the more classic plots.

For example, the flying cards in the first episode, the thunder cards when Syaoran first appeared, the cards that were eliminated when Sakura and Syaoran opened their hearts to each other for the first time, etc.

Thinking of this, Xia Yu turned and left. The flying cards would not appear until midnight. It was still dusk and there was still a lot of time. There was no rush. "Xiao Xi, give me a suggestion, what should we eat tonight?"

[Master, I suggest you eat something light at night. How about pumpkin porridge? ]

"Okay, I just want to eat something sweet, do you want a bowl too?"

[Small series! Thank you, Master~]

……

At the same time, the Kinomoto family.

When the strong wind died down, Sakura could not help but collapse into the ground, and the thick red book in her hand fell to the ground.

Just when Sakura was at a loss, the book that fell to the ground suddenly emitted a golden glow, and then a doll with a yellow body, white wings, and a big-eared mouse appeared on the cover of the book.

The doll floated in the air, and the next second, it suddenly raised its hand: "Hello! Yeah, thank you for waking me up."

"Osaka accent?"

Sakura was dumbfounded when she heard the thick Osaka accent, but before she could continue speaking, the doll started talking to itself again.

"Because I stayed in Osaka for too long with this book, I have completely acquired the Osaka accent."

Before the doll could finish, Sakura suddenly grabbed the doll and began to look through it: "Where are the batteries? Where is the switch? How can it talk?"

Being treated like this, the doll angrily floated back to the book, shaking its hands angrily and saying, "I'm not a toy!"

After an unhappy retort, the doll finally explained: "I am the sealed beast guarding this book, Kerberos!"

"Seal? Keruberos?"

"That's right!"

The sealed beast Kerberos jumped down from the book, waved his hand, and the book immediately floated in the air and opened automatically.

"The cards that guard this book and prevent them from doing bad things are mine..."

As Kruberos spoke, he looked into the book, but when he saw the empty groove, he was dumbfounded.

"Ah! The cards are gone!"

"Why? Why? Where did you go?"

Looking at Keruberos's depressed back, Sakura looked at the only card left in her hand and handed it over, asking, "Is this it?"

"Yes, that's it!"

Seeing that the cards were not lost, Kruberos happily took them, looked up and asked, "What about the other cards?"

Honest child Sakura spoke the truth: "After I said WINDY..."

"Ah."

"Suddenly a gust of wind blew..."

"Uh-huh."

“They all flew away.”

"I see."

“Hahahahahahaha…” ×2
