Military training is the first lesson for freshmen.

Whether it is junior high school, high school or university, almost all new students have to undergo military training.

The purpose of military training is not only to increase students' physical fitness, but more importantly to train their spirits. Of course, the effect is another matter.

In later generations, information was easily transmitted. When military training in other places was cutting corners, the military training of junior and senior high school students in Guangxi was well-known throughout the country.

For college students, military training is unavoidable.

This is a national policy that involves various legal provisions such as the National Defense Law, the Education Law, the Military Service Law, the National Defense Education Law, etc. It is not something that schools can decide on their own.

Moreover, military training is not only to make students suffer during the training, but also to enable them to have the spirit of hard work and unremitting fighting spirit. The underlying purpose is to make them better organized and disciplined, and it is also a kind of patriotic education.

Of course, if you want to skip military training, you can, but you must have sufficient reasons, such as a very convincing diagnosis certificate.

The physical fitness of students today is much better than it was twenty years ago, and there are not so many strategies to avoid military training, so almost everyone who has no physical problems will participate.

The Central Academy of Drama is located at No. 39 Mianhua Hutong, Dongcheng District, Beijing, right next to Shazhu’s Nanluoguxiang, in the old city area of ​​Beijing.

The name of this address tells us that the school is actually not that big, it is only the size of a palm. The campus of the Chinese Academy of Drama is the smallest among all universities.

Although there are only a few hundred freshmen at the Central Academy of Drama, military training cannot be fully implemented even with such a small number of people.

Therefore, the military training of the Central Academy of Drama was held at the Academy of Chemical Defense. This university, founded 50 years ago, is located in the northwest suburbs of Beijing. It is a national key university and a nationally renowned undergraduate military academy.

It will not be until one or two years, when the Changping campus is completed and put into use, that we will no longer need to borrow the playgrounds of other schools. After that, almost all new students will study in the new campus, and will not return to the old campus until their senior year or graduate school.

This day was the day when the freshmen of the 96 class of the Central Academy of Drama began their military training.

At eight o'clock in the morning, we gathered in the small playground on time and then went to the Chemical Defense College together.

The Chemical Defense College is not far from the Central Academy of Drama. Before ten o'clock, everyone had gathered on the large playground of the Chemical Defense College.

Because there are fewer students majoring in drama, Liu Zhou and his colleagues formed a formation with students from the directing department and the drama art design department.

The instructors were from the Training and Operations Department of the Beijing Military Region. They were real professional soldiers, unlike the later generations where the military training instructors for college students were all senior national defense students from the schools.

After handing over to the class teacher Huang Weiruo, the instructor stood tall in front of everyone and said loudly:

If you want to talk to me during training, you need to shout "report" first and then get my permission before you can speak. When you answer my questions, you must end with the word "instructor". Do you understand?"

"Understood, instructor!"

"From now on, I will hold you to the standards of a soldier. No one is allowed to disobey my orders, because it is the duty of a soldier to obey orders. Do you understand?"

"Understood, instructor!"

"I didn't hear you clearly, say it again!"

"Understood, Instructor!" everyone shouted at the top of their lungs.

When everyone saw that the instructor's tone was so impolite and that he looked at them with a very serious look, they knew that the instructor was not joking.

"Very good. Now listen to my command. The two students on the left will lead the way. Follow me and jog five laps in two lines."

After the instructor finished speaking, he ran forward, and everyone followed immediately.

At first, when I heard the instructor say it was jogging, I didn’t think anything of it, but the jogging of soldiers is obviously not the same as the jogging we imagine.

Instructor Wang's jogging is almost as fast as our running. At the beginning, he could keep up, but some people fell behind one after another.

After running five laps, Liu Zhou felt a sweet taste in her throat, and she held up her legs, breathing heavily. When the last girl reached the finish line, she almost fell on the track, but fortunately, a classmate next to her supported her and she did not fall.

The instructor turned a blind eye to this and said:

"Good, no one is left behind. Take a five-minute break."

After hearing the instructor's words, everyone breathed a sigh of relief and sat on the ground to rest.

However, five minutes passed in a flash for them at this moment. Before they could catch their breath, the instructor blew the whistle to assemble.

After everyone stood in place, Instructor Wang said seriously:

"The speed of assembly is too slow. This is the first and last time. Next time I shout assembly, everyone must stand in position within ten seconds!"

After saying this, he didn't say anything else and just let everyone stand motionless in the sun.

I don't know how long Liu Zhou stood there. When his feet started to hurt, the instructor seemed to hear his thoughts and suddenly said:

"Take a break!"

After that, you just have to repeat this process, standing, at ease, at attention, and then knighting.

The military training finally ended for the day. Looking around, I saw that the freshmen were not walking very naturally and it seemed that everyone had foot pain.

After returning to school, Liu Zhou did not go back to the dormitory to rest, but endured the pain in his feet and went to the store at the school gate.

I looked carefully inside the door and saw that not many people went in. Then I immediately picked up a pack of sanitary napkins without caring about the brand and went to the checkout counter to pay.

Liu Zhou originally wanted to go back to the dormitory immediately, but as soon as he walked out of the store, he saw Liu Ye, Zeng Li and Yuan Quan.

Liu Ye walked towards the store after he finished speaking, but when he walked next to Liu Zhou, he suddenly grabbed Liu Zhou's bag and said proudly:

"So mysterious! Let me see what secret thing you bought. Damn, you actually bought... woooo..."

Before Liu Ye, the sixth brother, could finish his words, Liu Zhou immediately covered his mouth.

However, due to the body's natural reaction, when Liu Ye tried to pry Liu Zhou's hands open with his hands, the black bag suddenly fell to the ground.

Then, as luck would have it, the sanitary napkin also rolled out and landed right at Zeng Li's feet.

Facing the two people's surprised gazes, Liu Zhou suddenly felt his face getting a little hot.

Although Liu Zhou has more than 20 years of experience, for most men, young and old, they will feel ashamed when buying sanitary napkins.

For a moment, Liu Zhou forgot to let go of Liu Ye. While covering Liu Ye's mouth, he gritted his teeth and said to the two ladies:
"Do you believe me when I tell you that this is for my own use?"

Liu Zhou didn't know why he had to explain, but he saw that Zeng Li and Yuan Quan looked even more surprised after hearing Liu Zhou's explanation, and they looked him up and down carefully.

When Liu Zhou saw the looks in the two men's eyes, he wished he could smother Liu Ye to death.
