Chapter 8 Redemption Opening
Li Siheng squatted down in front of her, lowering himself for once, and said softly, pleadingly, "Before that, come home with me."
Bian Yue just looked at her hand, which was held by Li Siheng at some point.
She shook her head slowly and said calmly: "Li Siheng, that place is no longer my home. I hate betrayal and will never forgive it."
After she finished speaking, she pulled her hand out of Li Siheng's without any hesitation.
The movements were like slow motion, slowing down frame by frame, and it was heart-wrenching.
Before Li Siheng could react, Bian Yue had already stood up and walked upstairs.
Behind her, Li Siheng maintained the posture of being pushed away by her, motionless.
I fell asleep on a moonlit night and dreamed of the rainy season six years ago.
That was when Bian Yue was 16 years old.
The Hong Kong River is humid during the rainy season, and heavy rain falls without warning, destroying lives.
The Bian family had just finished a funeral. The solemn mourning hall was grand and dignified, and the black and white color scheme complemented the continuous heavy rain outside.
There are two statues in the middle of the mourning hall, which are the head of the Bian family and his wife. The Bian family has been in internal strife, and the Bian family, which was once the peak of power in Kowloon City, is about to fall and has shown signs of decline.
Inside the mourning hall, everyone was asking about Bian Yue's whereabouts, preparing to join forces to force this young girl who had just lost her parents to hand over her inheritance.
No one knew that it was raining heavily on the top floor. Bian Yue was sitting on the ground holding a family photo, and the rain was hitting her eyes, which were sore and swollen and filled with tears.
Bian Yue felt nothing and carefully calculated what posture he should use to jump from the top floor so that he could die quickly and painlessly.
She was thinking intently until a pair of white sneakers appeared in her sight.
The rain was blocked by the black umbrella. Bian Yue looked up in surprise and saw Li Siheng in white.
The 18-year-old Li Siheng has an invincible appearance. The uneven white quilt he wears is very stylish and is the only bright color on a gloomy and rainy day.
Behind him were two rows of bodyguards wearing black clothes and holding black umbrellas.
He looked at herself with his gentle and clear peach blossom eyes and a soft smile. The moment he opened his mouth, he cast a spell on Bian Yue's heart.
He said: "Bian Yue, I'm here to take you home."
Without any hesitation, Bian Yue placed her cold little hand in his.
How come the first encounter isn’t considered redemption?
This is clearly the redemption opening that fits all heartwarming stories.
How come we have come to such a desperate situation now?
Bian Yue was puzzled in her sleep and woke up in the late night.
Wen Jiao had fallen asleep next to her without her knowing. At this moment, Miss Wen was already deep in a heartless dream.
Bian Yue looked at her with amusement, then stood up and walked to the floor-to-ceiling window.
It was raining heavily at night and I couldn’t see the scenery outside the window clearly, let alone where the scenery led to.
Bian Yue looked at the rain for a while, then subconsciously turned her head to look at the umbrella that she had casually placed on the table.
The matte black umbrella with a wooden handle looks very suitable for the rainy season.
When should I return this umbrella? Bian Yue thought.
At this moment, on the same stormy night, in the Li family's hall, Shi Anan was kneeling at Li Siheng's feet, with an aggrieved expression on her delicate and beautiful face.
Shi Anan actually didn't think about competing with Bian Yue for anything, she was just moved, so one night when Li Siheng ignored her, she somehow sent a message to Bian Yue.
Shi Anan never thought that Bian Yue would keep the appointment, nor did she think that at this moment, Li Siheng would let her live in the Li family.
But now that she has moved in, she can't be kicked out.
"Ah Heng." Shi Anan gently pulled the corner of the man's suit pants, her voice soft and harmless: "I didn't mean to make Bian Yue angry. She is your fiancée, how could I go to find her without knowing my own limitations?"
Li Siheng glanced at Shi Anan from head to toe. He said calmly, "Take off your clothes."
Shi Anan was delighted. Li Siheng had never touched her since the day they first met, except for the time he touched her when he was drunk.
The white silk pajamas were casually thrown on the sofa, emitting a beautiful luster under the light.
Shi Anan wanted to hug Li Siheng eagerly, but the man picked up the pajamas and folded it carefully.
Shi Anan had to admit that Li Siheng didn't love her.
He treated Bian Yue's things so seriously, and the way he looked at this pajamas was much warmer than when he looked at himself.
The next moment, she heard Li Siheng's gentle and indifferent voice. He said, "There is only one rule for living here. Don't touch Bian Yue's things."
Shi Anan felt cold.
She really wanted to ask Li Siheng what exactly he felt towards Bian Yue. People outside said that he had changed his mind, but who would care so much about every thing of the other person?
But this was not something she should ask. What happened between her and Li Siheng was more like a transaction with a clear price.
Li Siheng was the bidder and she was the item to be sold.
The most romantic thing between them is that the man is kind enough to give himself a price far exceeding the market price.
Before An An could finish saying "Okay", Li Siheng had already grabbed her wrist and pulled her into his arms.
His eyes have a gentle temperament, but if you look closely, you can see a dark coldness in them.
Shi Anan heard Li Siheng say, "Have you taken the medicine?"
Shi Anan smiled dryly, put her arms around Li Siheng's neck, and said, I've eaten.
Li Siheng's expression was calm without any ripples. He casually patted Shi Anan's face and said, "Don't eat anymore in the future. I won't touch you."
Shi Anan took a deep breath and almost choked.
She really couldn't understand Li Siheng, and blurted out subconsciously: "Why?"
Li Siheng pushed her away, stood up, and said, "I'm tired of it."
Tired of it?
Tired of sleeping once?
How did you, Li Siheng, endure all those years when the moon was by your side?
Shi Anan felt sad and looked at Li Siheng, "Why do you keep me here? To be a vase or a mascot?"
Li Siheng turned his back to Shi Anan and took an umbrella from the housekeeper.
He seemed not to hear Shi Anan's question, and acted completely indifferent to her act of disobedience.
Shi Anan held her breath and watched Li Siheng return.
The umbrella in his hand looked delicate and familiar enough to Shi Anan.
That was the pier at Picnic Bay, and the umbrella that Bian Yue asked her to sign for.
Li Siheng ignored Shi An'an's stiff expression. He threw the umbrella in front of her, and said in a gentle but cruel voice, "Since you like autographs so much, sign all the autographs on this umbrella."
Shi Anan wondered if she had heard wrongly, and looked up at Li Siheng in surprise, only to see that the latter had a calm expression and looked like a bystander.
She pulled the corners of her lips and smiled stiffly, "I don't like autographs, but it was Bian Yue who insisted that I sign!"
The two words "bianyue" are emphasized.
But Li Siheng's heart was as hard as iron, and he remained indifferent when he saw the beauty's red eyes.
He said, "What are you standing there for? Sign."
The same dark night, Deep Water Bay, Shen’s family.
The black Maybach was parked in the open space of the manor. On a rainy night, the air was filled with the smell of grass and trees. Even the retro Chinese-style buildings had a desolate atmosphere.
